It occured to me that Senator Obama gave a fantastic interview on service at Columbia University on September 11 and McCain seemed thrown off at the end by the greeting Obama got when he came on the stage at Columbia University. I think Senator McCain has some more surprises coming.
Senator Obama is always talking about how he trusts the American people to see the differences between him and McCain and vote for Change. McCain tells us is that we are idiots. In every lying ad he runs, in every speech he makes, in every TV appearance he does, he insults the American people as being gullible, stupid, and just plain not aware he is lying.
Well I have news for you Senator McCain, you are right about this when it comes to your base and those who are attracted to a politics of ideological self destruction. You have become a man who is willing to destroy your country, your reputation and your party by knowingly nominating a vice presidential candidate who is not qualified with the goal of winning the Presidency at any price. And what a price it would be. More tax breaks for the rich, taxing our medical benefits, millions without health care, 100 more years in Iraq, more wars around the world, racial discord because of your parties intolerance of those not like you, fourth class citizenship for LGBT citizens, and on and on.
The American people are not that stupid. They are watching and they are seeing your lies, distortions and incomprehensible discounting of their needs as citizens of this country. You think we don't know that we can have health care for all, like in other countries. You think we don't know we can fix Social Security for generations to come, without privatization. You think we don't know that all Americans are created equal. You think we don't know that if we pull out of Iraq, no matter what happens there, we will be in a better position in the world for the future. Actually Senator McCain you think we are dummies. You think you can play us for fools. Not this time, not this election.
