What Do You Think Obama Is Up To?

Why would Obama reach out to the right and then get his hands slapped? Why would he spend so much time wining and dining the right to only have them goose egg him on the Stimulus vote? There have been many pundits giving their typical inside the beltway opinions. It is quite possible none of them is even close.

President Obama knows exactly what he is doing. He now has the GOP painted as the obstructionists and the cut taxes to solve all problems party. In the future when they filibuster he will not depend on any of the senate republicans who are complete obstructionists and he can annoy and manipulate them as a group. He will always pick up 2 or 3 moderates to get his agenda through congress. Why you say? Because he has the people on his team.

No obstructionist group in congress can come close to defeating the will of the people and President Obama has a huge majority behind him. He has it all under control. Just watch and marvel at his successes and the complete destruction of the GOP.
